Sons of Fort Lee is a 501(c)3 charity established in 2026 by a group of Fort Lee High School Alumni. We started out many years ago as a group of friends who wanted to get together at Christmas time for lunch or summer time at Hiram's. Sons of Fort Lee is comprised of seven board members, whose goal is to award $50,000 in scholarships by our 50th High School reunion in 2030.

Sons of Fort Lee, established in 2026, appeared in the Gold Coast Life newspaper. We attended the Fort Lee High School Academic Awards dinner and gave out twelve scholarships, the most out of 31 organizations at the dinner. We were honored to be selected to have an article written about us in our first year.
The guests had a special surprise. Board member Manny Martinez, owner of Segovia's Steakhouse & Seafood in Little Ferry NJ, left a complimentary gift card beneath one plate at each table prior to the event starting. We were told this made the night a memorable event for all.

Sons of Fort Lee participated in the Fort Lee Memorial Day Parade and handed out American flags along the parade route.

We had the honor of driving veteran VFW Post 2342 member Al Gonzalez and his family in the parade.

The founders of Sons of Fort Lee attended a fundraiser in 2024. They realized how much money was spent on expenses. They decided to form a charity where 100% of donations went to awarding scholarships.
